Privacy Policy & Legal Notice

1. Who we are
LaVie Mind Longevity & Collective LLC ("LaVie", "we", "us") operates this website and, once open, the LaVie clinic in Austin, Texas. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this site. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@lavie-clinic.com.
2. Why this applies, even without cookies
Data protection rules (including the GDPR for EU/EEA visitors) are not only about cookies — they apply to any personal data we process. This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It does collect information you actively submit through our forms: name, email, phone number, and any message content. That alone is enough to trigger the obligations described below.
3. What we collect
- Contact details you provide: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth.
- The content of any message or application you send us.
We do not collect health information through this website. Clinical intake, once you are a client, is governed by a separate care agreement and applicable health-data rules.
4. Why we collect it, and on what legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry or booking request — legal basis: your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries sent to us.
- Processing your application — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- Sending the Journal newsletter — legal basis: your explicit consent, given when you subscribe; you may withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
5. Data minimization
We only ask for the information strictly needed for the purpose of each form. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. How long we keep it
Contact and enquiry data is kept for 12 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted or anonymized. Founding Member application data is kept for the duration of the review process and, if you join, for the duration of your membership plus any period required by contract or accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Cookies
This website does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, so no cookie consent banner is shown. If that changes, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Request a portable copy of the data you provided us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@lavie-clinic.com. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we hold against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
